Extension of CSP to NCE renewal enforcement date: How partners can continue to leverage Ingram Micro Migration Services

Microsoft has recently announced they will be extending their blocking of legacy CSP commercial renewals expiring July 11, 2022.

• Instead, all CSP legacy commercial subscriptions will continue to auto-renew in CSP legacy past July 11 until further announcements from Microsoft.

What this means for partners:

• Partners could renew in CSP legacy past July 11, 2022; however, all indirect reseller incentives will be removed for active CSP legacy subscriptions as of January 1, 2023, in favor of NCE.
• Partners do not benefit from the higher core incentives applicable for NCE subscriptions should they continue to renew on CSP legacy.

Our recommendation:

• Partners should continue to migrate to NCE prior to subscription renewal. Ingram Micro Cloud will continue to perform early migrations through our fully standardized migration process up to 30 days prior to your customers’ CSP legacy commercial subscription renewals.
• If you wish to move ahead with our migration services to NCE, YOU MUST OPT-IN by signing and completing this opt-in form.

While it is a partner and end customer decision, we do not encourage partners to renew CSP subscriptions under the CSP program. We will however, continue to support the functionality for both programs.
